Sorrento, Italy – United States Trade Representative Katherine Tai today met with European Commission Executive Vice President Valdis Dombrovskis on the sidelines of the G20 Trade and Investment Ministerial.
Ambassador Tai and Executive Vice President Dombrovskis highlighted their commitment to a successful 12th World Trade Organization Ministerial Conference later this year. They also discussed the ongoing efforts to address global overcapacity in the steel and aluminum sectors and shared challenges posed by non-market economies.
Ambassador Tai and Executive Vice President Dombrovskis agreed to stay in regular communication in the days ahead.
