Ambassador Katherine Tai to Travel to Paris, France

WASHINGTON – On Monday, October 4, 2021 Ambassador Katherine Tai will travel to Paris, France to participate in the 60th Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Ministerial Council Meeting (MCM). The MCM theme is “Shared Values: Building a Green and Inclusive Future” and the U.S. will focus on driving an inclusive pandemic recovery, tackling the climate crisis, and building a more equitable future. 

On Wednesday, October 6th, Ambassador Tai will chair the OECD MCM trade session, which is focused on “Making Trade Work for All”. During this visit, Ambassador Tai will also participate in a WTO mini-ministerial meeting.  She will hold bilateral meetings on the margins of the OECD MCM with international counterparts and engage with business leaders and stakeholders about strengthening the transatlantic trade relationship.

Ambassador Tai will return to the United States on Thursday, October 7, 2021.
