WASHINGTON – United States Trade Representative Katherine Tai today released a statement on the Biden Administration’s continued support for Comoros’ accession to the World Trade Organization.
“The United States is pleased to announce the completion of bilateral market access negotiations with Comoros, as part of Comoros’ efforts to accede to the WTO. Comoros began active work toward WTO accession in late 2016, and it has shown a renewed commitment to advance this process during the past year. Our bilateral agreement represents a significant milestone in its journey.
“The United States looks forward to working with Comoros and other Members as Comoros strives to advance and complete its accession to the WTO.”
