SINGAPORE – Deputy United States Trade Representative Sarah Bianchi met with Singapore Ministry of Communications and Information Second Permanent Secretary Chng Kai Fong. The two shared ideas on the digital component of the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework, which is intended to advance resilience, sustainability, inclusiveness, economic growth, fairness, and competitiveness for economies in the region.
Ambassador Bianchi also convened a series of roundtable discussions with digital, environmental, and supply chain stakeholders to discuss the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework. Ambassador Bianchi heard stakeholder issues and suggestions about best regulatory practices for the region.
