WASHINGTON – On September 8, 2023, United States Trade Representative Katherine Tai will travel to Sacramento, California.
During her trip, Ambassador Tai will participate in a fireside chat moderated by California’s Lieutenant Governor Eleni Kounalakis at the 2023 California AAPI Legislative Caucus Leadership Summit. As the co-chair of the White House Initiative and President’s Advisory Commission on Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders (WHIAANHPI) and a proud representative for AA and NHPI communities in the President’s Cabinet, Ambassador Tai will discuss how the Biden-Harris Administration is working to address the unique challenges facing the community.
