WASHINGTON – United States Trade Representative Katherine Tai today met with Finland Minister for Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade Ville Skinnari. Ambassador Tai and Minister Skinnari agreed on the importance of a positive and productive transatlantic trade relationship between the United States, Finland, and the European Union.
Ambassador Tai and Minister Skinnari discussed opportunities to work together on the recently-announced Trade and Technology Council, as well as a wide range of other opportunities for positive engagement and collaboration in responding to shared global challenges, such as the actions of non-market countries, climate change, technological advances, WTO reform, and protection of labor rights.
