MEXICO CITY – United States Trade Representative Katherine Tai today participated in a roundtable with Canada’s Minister of Small Business, Export Promotion and International Trade Mary Ng, hosted by Mexico’s Secretary of Economy Tatiana Clouthier and moderated by Under Secretary of Foreign Trade Luz Maria de la Mora. The roundtable was attended by Mexican entrepreneurs and small businesses from underrepresented groups.
During the roundtable, Ambassador Tai engaged directly with the attendees regarding their views on trade policy and how trade impacts their lives and businesses. The Ambassador also highlighted priorities for the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA/TMEC/CUSMA) and a worker-centered trade policy.
