WASHINGTON – On Tuesday, July 6, Ambassador Katherine Tai will travel to Mexico City to meet with Mexico’s Secretary of Economy Tatiana Clouthier and Canada’s Minister of Small Business, Export Promotion and International Trade Mary Ng to commemorate the first anniversary of the entry-into-force of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA/T-MEC/CUSMA).
During this visit, the ministers will exchange views on the achievements reached during the Agreement's first year. They will also discuss opportunities to strengthen the trilateral relationship and ensure the long-term growth and competitiveness of the region. Ambassador Tai will return to the United States on Friday, July 9.
