Multilateral Environmental Agreements
USTR participates in U.S. policymaking regarding the negotiation and implementation of various multilateral environmental agreements (MEAs) and processes, to help ensure compatibility between these agreements and processes and U.S. environment-related trade policies.

- Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora

- Rotterdam Convention on the Prior Informed Consent Procedure for Certain Hazardous Chemicals and Pesticides in International Trade
