WASHINGTON – On May 4 - May 5, 2023, United States Trade Representative Katherine Tai will travel to Phoenix, Arizona and Los Angeles, California. During this trip, Ambassador Tai will meet with local businesses leaders and national and local government officials. She will also deliver a major speech in recognition of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month at the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business.

In her remarks, Ambassador Tai will highlight how the Biden-Harris Administration is investing in American competitiveness and using trade to promote a more resilient and prosperous future for our workers and businesses.

Ambassador Tai will deliver a major speech at the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business in recognition of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AA and NHPI) Heritage Month. Ambassador Tai’s speech will focus on how the Biden-Harris Administration is partnering with AA and NHPI communities across the country to build a freer and fairer America, as well as highlight the strength and resilience that AA and NHPI communities have demonstrated over generations.
