WASHINGTON – United States Trade Representative Katherine Tai today met with Dutch Minister of Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation Liesje Schreinemacher and reaffirmed their shared commitment to strengthening the transatlantic relationship.
During the meeting, they conferred on a number of trade issues of mutual concern. In particular, they discussed the ongoing U.S.-EU negotiation of a Global Arrangement on Sustainable Steel and Aluminum and the recently launched negotiation of a U.S.-EU Critical Minerals Agreement. Ambassador Tai and Minister Schreinemacher both stressed the importance of these negotiations.
Ambassador Tai and Minister Schreinemacher also noted with satisfaction the continued work of the U.S.-EU Trade and Technology Council.
