WASHINGTON – United States Trade Representative Katherine Tai today met virtually with Indonesia Minister of Trade Muhammad Lutfi.
Ambassador Tai and Minister Lutfi discussed the importance of the trade and investment relationship between the United States and Indonesia. They committed to bilateral cooperation, including through the U.S.-Indonesia Trade and Investment Framework Agreement and regional engagement through the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). Ambassador Tai and Minister Lutfi agreed to future engagement on strengthening the bilateral trade relationship and expanding trade between the two countries.
