WASHINGTON – United States Trade Representative Katherine Tai will travel to Chicago, Illinois from February 6-7, 2024.
On February 6, Ambassador Tai will tour HIRE360’s new job training and business development center and participate in a roundtable discussion with apprentices, organized labor, contractors, and industry leaders. This roundtable is closed press.
In the evening, Ambassador Tai will participate in a fireside chat titled, “Free Trade in the Balance: A Discussion with US Trade Representative Katherine Tai,” moderated by journalist and Vanity Fair contributor, Bethany McLean at the University of Chicago Institute of Politics. This event is open press and will be livestreamed via the University of Chicago Institute of Politics YouTube channel.
