On December 9, 2019, Indonesia requested consultations with the European Union regarding certain measures imposed by the European Union and its member States concerning palm oil and oil palm crop-based biofuels from Indonesia. 

Indonesia claimed that the measures imposed by the European Union appear to be inconsistent with:

• Articles 2.1, 2.2, 2.4, 2.5, 2.8, 2.9, 5.1.1, 5.1.2, 5.2, 5.6, 5.8, 12.1 and 12.3 of the TBT Agreement; and

• Articles I:1, III:4, X:3(a) and XI:1 of the GATT 1994.

On October 21, 2015, Ukraine requested consultations with Russia concerning certain measures imposed by Russia on the importation of railway equipment and parts thereof.

Ukraine claims that the measures are inconsistent with:

• Articles I:1, III:4, X:3(a), XI:1, and XIII:1 of the GATT 1994; and

• Articles 2.1, 2.2, 2.5, 5.1.1, 5.1.2, 5.2.1, 5.2.2, 5.2.3, 5.2.5, and 5.2.6 of the TBT Agreement.

On October 16, 2014, Brazil requested consultations with Indonesia concerning certain measures imposed by Indonesia on the importation of meat from fowls of the species Gallus domesticus and products from fowls of the species Gallus domesticus.

Brazil claims that the measures are inconsistent with:

* Articles 2.2, 2.3, 3.1, 5, 5.1, 5.2, 5.5, 5.6, 8 and Annex C of the SPS Agreement;

* Articles 2.1, 2.2, 2.4, 5.1 and 5.2 of the TBT Agreement;

* Articles 4.2 and 14 of the Agreement on Agriculture;
