WASHINGTON – United States Trade Representative Katherine Tai today spoke with Pakistan’s Minister of Commerce Jam Kamal Khan. Ambassador Tai and Minister Khan committed to staying closely engaged in order to make progress on outstanding bilateral agricultural issues. They discussed the necessity of developing a balanced and inclusive digital economy, and Ambassador Tai welcomed Pakistan’s recent consultations in the area. Ambassador Tai and Minister Khan reaffirmed their commitment to advance collaboration under the Trade and Investment Framework Agreement as well as the MOU on Women’s Economic Empowerment.
