WASHINGTON – United States Trade Representative Katherine Tai today met with Trinidad and Tobago Prime Minister Keith Rowley.
During the meeting, Ambassador Tai and Prime Minister Rowley reaffirmed the importance of the U.S.-Trinidad and Tobago economic partnership and discussed new efforts to create opportunities for our people.
Ambassador Tai emphasized the United States’ worker-centered trade policy and the urgency of promoting inclusive, equitable, and sustainable economic growth in the United States and throughout the Caribbean region. Further, Ambassador Tai underscored the importance of reducing economic vulnerabilities by working together to make supply chains more diverse and resilient.
