WASHINGTON – United States Trade Representative Katherine Tai today met virtually with Ebrahim Patel, South Africa’s Minister for Trade, Industry and Competition. Ambassador Tai and Minister Patel discussed the upcoming World Trade Organization (WTO) Ministerial Conference and their views on future work at the WTO. They also discussed bilateral issues.
The two agreed to stay in communication ahead of the upcoming WTO Ministerial Conference.
