WASHINGTON – United States Trade Representative Katherine Tai will travel to San Francisco, California from November 12-17, 2023.
On November 13, Ambassador Tai will host the IPEF Pillar I (Trade) Ministerial Meeting. The start of this event is open to pre-credentialed photographers.
On November 14-15, Ambassador Tai will co-chair the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Ministers’ Meeting with Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken. Ministerial sessions will be open to pre-credentialed APEC media. Ambassador Tai will also participate in APEC Economic Leaders’ Week meetings and events.
While in San Francisco, Ambassador Tai will meet with senior governmental officials from IPEF and APEC partners, as well as stakeholders and community leaders, to discuss the Biden-Harris Administration’s engagement and priorities in the Asia-Pacific region. This will include the first-ever Ministerial-level Dialogue on November 14 between Indigenous and Tribal leaders and APEC Ministers on economic and trade policies that benefit Native communities.
