WASHINGTON – United States Trade Representative Katherine Tai today met with Norway’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Anniken Huitfeldt. Ambassador Tai and Minister Huitfeldt discussed the importance of progress on World Trade Organization (WTO) issues and how the United States and Norway can work together to make the WTO relevant to the needs of regular people. They also addressed shared challenges posed by China’s non-market policies and practices. Ambassador Tai and Minister Huitfeldt agreed to stay in communication on these, and other priorities, in the future.
