WASHINGTON – United States Trade Representative Katherine Tai today met virtually with Sigrid Kaag, the Dutch Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation.
Ambassador Tai emphasized her desire to work closely with the Netherlands on an inclusive and worker-centric trade policy. The two discussed ways in which the United States and the EU can work together to confront the challenges of global excess capacity and the importance of cooperation to increase global vaccine supply by tackling production bottlenecks.
The two agreed to maintain regular lines of communication.
