WASHINGTON – United States Trade Representative Katherine Tai will travel to Brussels, Belgium from July 20-21, 2023.
During her trip, Ambassador Tai will meet with European Commission Executive Vice President Valdis Dombrovskis to continue discussions on establishing a Global Arrangement on Sustainable Steel and Aluminum. This will be Ambassador Tai’s second meeting in July with Executive Vice President Dombrovskis and reflects the strong ongoing commitment from the U.S. and the EU to reach consensus on the agreement by the October 2023 deadline.
