WASHINGTON – United States Trade Representative Katherine Tai today met virtually with French Minister Delegate for Foreign Trade, Economic Attractiveness, Francophonie, and French Nationals Abroad Franck Riester.
Ambassador Tai noted the importance of working with France to promote trade policies and practices that will allow American and French workers to compete fairly in global markets. Ambassador Tai and Minister Riester also discussed the upcoming U.S.-EU Trade and Technology Council (TTC) ministerial meeting, which will be held in Leuven, Belgium from April 4-5.
They agreed to stay in regular communication.
