WASHINGTON – United States Trade Representative Katherine Tai today met virtually with Colin Woodall, the Chief Executive Officer of the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (NCBA) to discuss ways to resolve issues surrounding country of origin labeling and agriculture’s contributions to meeting the Administration’s sustainability and environmental goals. Ambassador Tai committed to monitoring Chinese compliance with the structural commitments of the U.S.-China Economic and Trade Agreement.
Ambassador Tai and Mr. Woodall agreed to continued dialogue in the future.
