Ambassador Froman will join with his family and 350 volunteers on Martin Luther King Jr. Day to participate in an event sponsored by Points of Light. Volunteers will lend a hand to veterans and families who are trying to transition from active duty to civilian life and will prepare care-packs that will be sent to wounded warriors oversees who are recovering from injuries sustained while deployed.

Ambassador Siddiqui will brief representatives from the agricultural industry and stakeholder organizations on the agricultural outcomes of the “Bali Package” decisions at the WTO Ministerial Conference last December in Indonesia. The briefing will provide attendees a forum to ask questions concerning the WTO Bali agricultural decisions on food stockholding, export competition, and TRQ administration, as well as the implementation of those decisions.
