9th Round Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership Negotiations

NEGOTIATIONS

The ninth round of U.S. - EU negotiations on the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (T-TIP) agreement will take place in New York, NY from April 20 – 24, 2015.  The negotiating teams will discuss in-depth a broad range of T-TIP issues.


STAKEHOLDER FORUM

During the 9th round, the U.S. hosts will hold a forum during which U.S. and EU negotiators will exchange views with interested stakeholders. The forum will take place on Thursday, April 23, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at TBD location and will feature two separate components:

1. Stakeholder Policy Presentations - 11:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Stakeholders are invited to deliver presentations to U.S. and EU negotiators outlining their views on aspects of the T-TIP agreement.  Presentation time slots will be assigned on a first come, first served basis until capacity is reached.  Stakeholders must register by Wednesday, April 15, 2015 in order to receive a time assignment.  To register, please click here

2. Chief Negotiators Briefing - 3:15 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.  

The U.S. and EU Chief Negotiators will provide a briefing on the status of the negotiations and will answer stakeholder questions.  The briefing is open to registered stakeholders.  In order to attend, stakeholders must register by Wednesday, April 15, 2015.  To register, please click here

 

PRESS EVENTS

The U.S. and EU Chief Negotiators will hold a media briefing at the end of the negotiating round, on Friday, April 24, 2015 in New York.  The briefing will be open to credentialed members of the press.
