    Last winter Ambassador Kirk spoke to the National Conference of State Legislators (NCSL) about the importance of trade and the administrations' partnership with states and cities to bring the benefits of trade to Americas families. NCSL's Labor and Economic Development committee focuses on trade and has offered its continued support of the efforts of USTR and the administration's efforts to promote exports, decrease the trade deficit and bring economic development to their communities.
