March 06, 2017

WASHINGTON, DC − Today, Acting United States Trade Representative, Stephen Vaughn, issued the following statement concerning the passing of former United States Trade Representative Clayton Yeutter:

“Clayton Yeutter leaves behind a powerful legacy as a strong advocate for American interests. He was a dedicated Ambassador for the United States who worked tirelessly for American farmers, workers, and businesses of all kinds. After his highly distinguished career in government, he frequently assisted USTR by providing support and advice during critical negotiations around the globe. He is fondly remembered by many here who appreciate his wisdom, counsel, and guidance. On behalf of myself and all who knew him at USTR, I would like to offer our condolences to his family.  He will be greatly missed.”
