To foster trade and development in innovative new ways, the U.S. negotiations for a free trade agreement with Central American countries will include a Trade Capacity Building group meeting in parallel with the negotiating groups. Each Central American country identified its needs in a “National Trade Capacity Building Strategy.” Donors, who have responded with ideas for dozens of projects, i nclude: U.S. Government agencies, international institutions, corporations and non-governmental organizations.
