Representatives of the Government of the United States of America and the
Government of Uruguay announced today that the next meeting of the Joint
Commission on Trade and Investment will be held in Washington, DC on Monday ,
April 3 and Tuesday, April 4.
The Joint Commission was established in November 2002 as a means of
strengthening coordination between the two countries and recognizes the
importance of our bilateral relationship and provides an opportunity for the two
nations to discuss areas of mutual interest.
