BRASILIA – United States Trade Representative Katherine Tai today met with representatives from the Confederation of Industries (CNI) to discuss opportunities to strengthen the U.S. – Brazilian trade partnership and increase bilateral investment between both countries. Ambassador Tai expressed her strong interest in working closely with the new Lula administration. CNI officials also highlighted the importance of increased engagement on climate and sustainability issues and supporting growth opportunities in clean energy sectors to fight climate change.
