Made-in-America Manufacturing Exports from Oregon and Jobs

  • In 2018, Oregon exported $19.7 billion of manufactured products. 
  • Oregon exports of manufactured products supported an estimated 82 thousand jobs in 2016. 
  • The state's largest manufacturing export category is computer & electronic products, which accounted for $7.5 billion of Oregon's total goods exports in 2018.

Oregon Depends on World Markets

  • The state’s largest market was China. Oregon exported $4.7 billion in goods to China in 2018, representing 21 percent of the state’s total goods exports. 
  • China was followed by Canada ($3.2 billion), Japan ($2.2 billion), Korea ($1.7 billion), and Malaysia ($1.5 billion).

 International Investment Creates Jobs in Oregon
