The U.S.-Australia Free Trade Agreement (AUSFTA) between the United States and Australia has been in effect since 2005. AUSFTA contains provisions for Joint Committee Meetings to review the general functioning of this Agreement and consider ways to further enhance trade relations between the United States and Australia. The United States and Australia will hold a meeting of the Joint Committee on May 3, 2016. We welcome input ahead of these discussions and interested stakeholders are invited to contact Drew Quinn (AQuinn@ustr.eop.gov) in USTR’s Office of Southeast Asia and the Pacific.
